When Dr Geoffrey Toogood slipped on a pair of mismatched socks one morning before rushing off to work, little did he know, it became a catalyst for a nationwide and global movement. Having experienced mental illness himself, Geoff wanted to break down the stigma that often comes with it and reduce suicide rates among doctors. So he went on to create #crazysocks4docs day. With its anniversary looming (7th June), Dr Toogood has grand plans for the day this year.
